I flew to San Francisco last night to work with one loan client (for sure,) and possibly/probably two. What's the difference between this and Houston? Beats me. Houston's a Gamma World City. San Fran beats us by three points, but that WAS nine years ago. Maybe we've caught up a bit.
Flight here yesterday was .. about what yo'ud expect. Every seat filled. 31" seat pitch; the diminutive Asian man in front of me reclined his seat all the way back, and the man sitting next to me didn't just take over the armrest, he was trying to take over my seat. Left late, arrived on time (you just HAVE to love Continental about that.) They fed us on the airplane - not a meal that one would rave over, but .. they fed us on the plane. Flight attendants were all pleasant, and worked the aisle for the entire flight. I worked my iPod for the very first time, and played FreeCell on the new in flight entertainment system for two hours, which was a hoot.
Saw this as I drank my second cup o'joe this morning -
It's awesome. I want to get a big supply and pass them out.
Yesterday, I only saw the campaign buttons and stickers for a single presidential candidate - Obama.
This is an interesting weekend - there is urgency, but also languidness interposed for a very surreal experience.
In a few minutes, we go on a quickie tour of SF commercial space, and then to the office to do some writing.
