Nothing like a deadline to make one intentional and creative. I have to pay the car off by Monday or give it back. So, I'm working every angle I can come up with. I have to dash down to a Toyota store to see about trading in my car and finding a new one.

Now, I have to put magazines into envelopes and address them. FUN!

Just spent the last two hours working with my credit reports online. Experian makes it SO damned hard to get into their system. CSC/Equifax is the easiest in some ways, but Trans Union is just the best overall from a consumer standpoint.

Now, I have to re-mail experian the information I sent them six weeks ago that they ignored. Bastards.

I'm eating what Mikey made for dinner last night. YUMMY!

And Tim, a guy that I met through the theater eons ago wrote me back today - been months since I've heard from him. That was nice.

Today, as I pushed Barney out of the way for the eleventy-fifth time, I was thinking .. he's so damned needy .. for the six thousand nine hundredth time this year (so far) and it hit me ..

My "sentence" is "I'm not wanted." And I have two dogs that are SO "not wanted," we have Barney, the neediest dog in creation, and Jackie, who was abandoned as a young adult and lived on the street all those years. Before that, I had Fred, who was abandoned when his owner moved out and just LEFT him behind.

How funny is that?

the inside of the chariot Posted by Hello

the perfect Divo chariot Posted by Hello
I've been wanting to pontificate in a profound manner for a while, but I've been in Florida visiting my dad, and working my tail off. Even today, which I'm taking at a languid pace, I'm still cleaning, putting things away, throwing things away, processing paperwork, etc. Very cathartic.

Class again tonight. Yesterday, I had to give the presentation in church - this is what the board president said today in an email:

"Your talk & demos yesterday were perfect. That is the best graphic to GET how all three planes work together! I've always been sort of intellectually O.K. with the concept, but could never truly visually integrate it or never fully internalize it. Thank you God for Play Dough & for Douglas!"

That was fun.

Last night, Kurtis called to say that he had picked up his new A4 - he drove it over for me to see it. It truly is a lovely car; I'm very glad for him.

Naturally, thus inspired, I had to surf eBay for an Audi of my own - and found a 2003 S8 - rarer than hen's teeth - in New Jersey, CPO, 22,000 miles, it's gorgeous. I'll pixelate it here in a moment.

Okay, more work to be done that can't involve a keyboard. More after class tonight.
