blogging from EJ's

using my new Treo 650, I can now blog while sitting at the end of the bar, cradled in the flirtatious presence of Jarred. Mikey is hammering on a 23 year old boy he met on the internet. Curt just went home. I will probably head out myself in a few minutes. Once I brainwash Mikey into configuring this phone synchronzing with the home computer, I will be loving this device. I haven't yet figured out how to surf eBay but, I think that this will provide me with hours of entertainment. As long as I cqn keep the battery charged up.

Tuesday - four days until tax deadlines

Allegedly, I have someone bringing in eight past due tax returns for me to file by Friday. Lovely. I'll be in tax return hell all day today and tomorrow.

About to hop into the shower and drive out past the Galleria to pick up a form. "our fax isn't working. I can't attach it to an email, I don't have a scanner." Blarg. $5 in gas and more than an hour's worth of time to pick up .. a form.

Then, quickly to fax off conditions and fee sheets on two loans, stack and submit two more, and .. tax time. I know I can finish the three that are here now in a short time; then, it's work on the one where I have to start with correcting the W-2s, then work my way up. That's the one that's going to have me in a tizzy, I think.

Monday, Monday ver. 642.01

Funny skies this morning - at 7:00, when I was leashing up the mutts, the sky was orange/yellow. Kind of a nice change; thundershowers today. It should be dark most of the day, I think.

Working on loans this morning, then this afternoon will be given over to taxes. Which reminds me - time for the tax scofflaw newsletter to go out.

Okay, the scofflaws are notified. One, I have to call. I'll do that in an hour or so.

Still haven't finished my thank you notes from the party; hopefully, I'll have a chance to do that today.

It's going to be one of "those" days - where the upstairs neighbor is making enough noise to be a marching band.
