$670.00. For electricity. For a month. I finally worked up the courage to open it.
What's it going to be in August, one wonders?
We got up into the attic, as Bram was engaged in sexual congress Sunday, and had water unexpectedly drip onto his bare butt from the ceiling. I figured his bed was therefore: a.) under the water heater, the drain pan for which was leaking, or b.) he was under the A/C condensor, the drain pan for which was leaking.
Upstairs we went, and found the attic looked like a garage sale after a Hezbollah rocket attack. Christmas stuff, shoes, school stuff, children's stuff (from children that don't belong to either of the prior residents) packaging materials, empty boxes, etc. So, we viscerally enjoyed throwing every last piece (except for the VERY 80's cocktail table that we found) down the hatch to the hallway below.
The attic insulation is just thrown everywhere - it's cut into pieces, old, yellow and .. bleh. Since the power bill was just (points) I think I may need to think about buying some more insulation and laying it out upstairs (now that we have it all clean and such.) Who knows? It could save me a bundle.
Bram also went and looked at the Phaeton yesterday; he LOVED it. Was going to go with Kevin today to see it, but Kevin's in Lafayette, and I have a TON of work to get done. So, no bueno.
It's time to get cleaned up and go pick up Chuck!
